While at Social House, my time was spent as the creative leader across all clients, as well as laying the foundation for a newly built Creative team. As part of leadership, I was able to set process, working closely with Strategy, which allowed my team to ideate and execute on impactful social content and photoshoots. I was also working with clients to customize our approach for their unique needs; ranging from graphic and photo production to identifying rich content categories as well as evolving their Social tone of voice.

Parallel to commercial work, my personal practice functions as an art space that explores poetics and views design as a medium agnostic process and tool for inquiry. My work seeks to re-present common objects, interactions and technologies through misuse—researching their potentials, both productive and unproductive—in order to better understand the world as it presents itself. This freedom allows me to engage areas outside of my client bounds, ultimately feeding back into my applied arts pursuits.

My primary focus is overseeing social content creation for several Microsoft LOBs while managing a team of creatives and collaborating daily with strategists. As one of the two initial creatives charged with making social content at Ayzenberg, not only was I responsible for the work, but also for building the foundation and processes in which it is being developed. Those processes have evolved into a structure for over ten teams, allowing for rapid growth and accounting for more than $15M annually.

a.PhotoStudio was a recent focus, which I built in order to better serve clients, elevate in-house capabilities and provide value through production efficiencies. Day-to-day responsibilities included writing treatments, developing mood boards and shooting in the studio, while my high-level responsibilities were managing a team of four (two photographers, a producer, and a retoucher) and liaising with internal teams and external partners and clients from across the agency.

The experience of working in New York City’s ad world was my introduction to advertising. Coming from the world of interactive and graphic design, it was a welcomed opportunity to learn a new facet of the industry. Working in print, digital and TV, I was able to hone my skills around art and copy.

Fuse Interactive was a great opportunity for me to play with many of mediums (UI/UX, code, video) and get a sense for what it takes to pull together 360° campaigns. My work there was primarily split between Kawasaki and Version Wireless with most of my efforts focussed on interactive web design and development.
